Specialist in fiber-reinforced plastics
The four-week, face-to-face course held at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM in Bremen provides a specialist qualification to employees from the plastics processing and aerospace industries and to jobseekers hoping to work as specialists in fiber-reinforced plastics.
Participants who successfully complete this four-week, face-to-face course will acquire the skills to manufacture, process and repair high-quality fiber composite structures and assure their quality. They will also learn about different manufacturing methods and the necessary work safety measures. The theoretical course contents are put to practical use in a wide range of practical activities.
This course is aimed at employees who wish to gain further qualifications in the field of fiber composite technology.
The Training Center for Fiber Composite Technology is directed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM. It is a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified training establishment and its facilities, the staff and the training program fulfills the quality standard laid down in DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 for training establishments giving courses with certifying qualifications.
