Qualified personnel are needed to use FRP properly and fully exploit its innovative potential. In practice, the choice of each individual component and the manufacturing process have a major influence on the properties of the resulting material and thus also on the properties of the component. Fraunhofer IFAM therefore offers a one-week manufacturer course that provides a basic understanding of FRP and teaches manual manufacturing processes.
