It merges reality and virtuality, creates transparency in complex technical and operational processes, and is an indispensable tool for the development and operation of cyber-physical systems (CPS). Digital twins can support companies throughout their entire value chain by creating clarity through digital data.

Companies must learn to adapt digital twins to their value creation realities and design their capabilities accordingly. The technology makes it possible to observe, analyze, visualize, simulate, interact with, and integrate intelligent products and systems throughout their entire life cycle.

Our modular online program “Mastering Digital Twins” provides you with in-depth knowledge of all phases of the lifecycle (idea, design, development, operation, and end-of-life) and a clear understanding of their business potential in various industrial scenarios.

We currently offer training to become a Digital Twins Business Consultant. The Digital Twins Solutions Architect and Digital Twins Technical Developer programs will be offered soon.

Maiara Rosa

Maiara Rosa is an aeronautical engineer with a master's degree in production engineering from the University of São Paulo (Brazil). Maiara has worked for three aviation companies, including Airbus and Embraer. She is currently a doctoral candidate researching servitization and the development of integrated solutions combining products and services.

 

Sonika Gogineni

Sonika Gogineni has a background in instrumentation engineering and production technology. She enjoys working on smart products and services. She not only develops methods for this on the research side, but also brings them to life.

 

Kai Lindow

Kai has been involved in industry-oriented research and development of PLM solutions for more than 10 years. He is head of the Virtual Product Creation department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK. Digital value creation and the ability of companies to digitally transform their product development and process planning play an important role in this context. His current focus is on digital twins, (advanced) system engineering, data consistency, and smart services.
