GIZ - German Agency for International Cooperation

The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) bundles the skills and long-standing expertise of the Deutscher Entwicklungsdienst (DED) gGmbH (German Development Service), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH (German Society for Technical Cooperation) and InWEnt – Capacity Building International. In their role as state-owned enterprises, these organizations support the German federal government in its efforts to achieve sustainable development through international cooperation. They are also engaged in international educational projects with a global reach.

Pact for Research and Innovation

The Pact for Research and Innovation was signed by the heads of Germany’s federal and regional governments on June 23, 2005. The federal government and Länder undertook to support German research organizations up to and including the year 2010, thereby enabling these organizations to plan for the future with a greater degree of confidence. In return, the scientific and research organizations agreed to increase the quality, efficiency and performance of their respective research and development activities.

iMOVE

Fraunhofer Academy is a member of the iMOVE-Network.

iMOVE is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) designed to promote and support the export of German vocational training and continuing education. In its capacity as a division within the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), iMOVE supports German providers in accessing international markets with an extensive range of services. With "Training - Made in Germany", iMOVE campaigns abroad for German competence in the field of vocational education and training.
