Cybersecurity threats are lurking everywhere, especially in healthcare. We train healthcare professionals, who are responsible for information-processing systems, to identify and assess cybersecurity threats and endow them with the knowledge required to prevent accidents and act in critical situations. The module addresses technical aspects as well as infrastructural and social dimensions.
The module will focus on the following main topics:
Sebastian holds a degree in Computer Science. He has been a researcher with Fraunhofer IPA since 2008 and he has practical experience in the automation of processes in clinical and biotechnological contexts. His research focusses on novel approaches to process management for life-science applications, including the design of dedicated user interfaces and the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Oliver holds a degree in Computer Science. He has been a researcher with Fraunhofer IPA since 2014 and has a background in software development and robotics. His work focusses on developing novel labortatory devices and machine-to-machine communication in both laboratory and clinical enviroments.
