A culture of innovation and learning is key to harness the opportunities offered by the digital transformation in healthcare. This module gives healthcare professionals with management responsibilities an idea of the relevance of organizational culture and leadership for the productive and sustainable integration of digital health technologies in hospital practices, illustrates the role of emotions in the introduction of digital technologies in hospitals, discusses the opportunities of agile approaches for healthcare and provides participants with an orientation and tools for driving the organizational transformation of hospitals.
The module will focus on the following main topics:
Sebastian is a researcher in the Professional Development and Competence Management Unit at the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy. He studied Psychology and International Area Studies in Leipzig, Halle (Saale), and Havana, Cuba. His research interests focus on organizational learning in the digital transformation and user-centered instruments of competence development.
Dr. Dirk Förster-Trallo
Dr. Förster-Trallo is a research fellow at the Fraunhofer Centre for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW. Before moving into science, Dr. Förster-Trallo supported international companies from the automotive and telecommunications industries as a management consultant in the digitalisation of product development and manufacturing processes. At the Fraunhofer IMW he conducts research in the field of digital and demographic transformation. His research focuses on the individual and organisational prerequisites for increasing innovation competencies along the value chain.
