Digital innovations are revolutionising healthcare. From clinicians to hospital managers, healthcare professionals need to be able to innovate, adapt and engage with new technologies and the changing pace of medicine. Our program enables you to lead projects and apply digital technologies in the health and care sectors.

Empowering healthcare professionals to understand and support digital innovation in hospitals

Participants will gain an understanding of emerging digital technologies; how to transform processes, structures and cultures; and measure the value and benefit of these technologies in patient care.

A European team of leading experts in digital technologies and learning design have come together to create a programme that is innovative, interdisciplinary, and impactful; providing technical knowledge and transferrable skills.

Our blended-learning structure allows participants to select an individual pathway to acquire the specific skills they require.  Our introductory module provides a broad introduction to the program content from which you can select the most applicable modules. 40% of the course content is delivered online, including dynamic content and live webinars; 40% takes place through in-person sessions in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom and 20% requires individual project work.

Our blended-learning structure allows participants to select an individual pathway to acquire the specific skills they require. Our introductory module provides a broad overview of the program content from which you can select the most applicable modules. Milestones will be set to encourage progress, but participants will be able to access much of the content as and when they are able. Learners will be able to address opportunities and threats, discuss changes in job requirements and how to shape personal development in the context of digital transformation and health. With the help of the tutors, you will be able to select the modules that are most appropriate to your work situation. Participants will acquire a Fraunhofer/TheHill certification upon successful completion of the training programme.

Online learning 

More than simply static content, the course will use dynamic remote learning tools and techniques. Learners will be able to communicate with each other as well as experts and tutors through moderated discussions and live webinars. We want to foster a community of learners where ideas, issues, problems and solutions can be developed and exchanged.

In person sessions 

In these engaging units, participants are encouraged to solve real world scenarios in order to not only understand but apply the content themselves.

Project work 

Learning individually or as part of a project team you will be able to engage with the programme at your own pace. Individual contact with tutors will support you through a series of homework assignments.
