Program overview

The program is composed of interdisciplinary, technology and management modules.

The modular structure of our program allows participants to choose an individual pathway to acquire the most relevant skills for them to drive digital innovations in healthcare.

The program consists of online modules with self-paced learning content, virtual live sessions and individual/peer project work. The average learning time for a module will be 15 hours in a 4 to 5 week period. Upon successful completion of a module, you will receive a certificate of completion.

TheHill is a digital innovation catalyst based in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, one of the UK's largest teaching hospitals and one of the largest hospitals in Europe.

TheHill brings a profound understanding of the challenges within the health sectors and a deep understanding of clinicians, allied health care professionals and hospital management.

Oxford was responsible for developing the comprehensive use cases for each module in cooperation with NSH personal and Fraunhofer as well as Universitat de Barcelona technological experts.

University of Barcelona (UB) is one of the most important Spanish universities and its healthcare education excellence is well-known worldwide. Having more than 80000 students, it will contribute through the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science with its large experience in Data science, Machine/Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and User-Interface Design with special focus on health applications.

The UB team works closely with the Fraunhofer researchers in the interdisciplinary and technological research groups and is responsible for the Health Economics module.
