After graduating as an industrial engineer in 1991 Dirk Deuster joint Robert Bosch Gmbh as a trainee for human resources. He operated over the divisions of human resource management as follows: human resource manager in Spain, he was responsible for executive support services at headquarter of Bosch and head of human resource for the Power Tool division.

In his function of director (since 2012) of the "corporate university"- Robert Bosch Kolleg- and of the Bosch Training Centers, he is responsible for continuing education. In addition he is responsible for the competence management and management of trainings.
